An aside. Kingsway Methodist Church Sunday School has released its 2nd newsletter this Sunday. While the newsletter is intended for parents and teachers, we want to share the electronic newsletter so that congregation would know more about us. Hopefully the newsletter would help to recruit potential Sunday school teachers. ^o^

Hard copy newsletter are only available to pastors, teachers and parents with children in Sunday school. The electronic newsletter is in 1200 dpi resolution, sufficient for colour printing on your own.

This coming Sunday is Sunday School Sunday and there will be special presentation from the children.

Church 16th Anniversary

Kingsway Methodist Church celebrates its 16th birthday today. May th Lord continue to bless the church and strengthen the church.

There are four children baptised and two adults confirmed to the church this morning. The combined choir sang the Hallelujah Chorus. We're expecting special presentation but there's none. Then, there's the cake cutting ceremony.

Wesley

Today is the day to commemorate John Wesley . Brother Daniel and Soon Jing presented a skit in an interview style.

Parents Day 07

Yesterday the church celebrated Parents day. The adult choir presented a song and the women fellowship presented a dance. The sunday school children gave a presentation on Psalm 23 and a song called "Billy Bob", teaching them about responsibility. The Psalm 23 recital by the chilren is a good way of remembering the verse. Do try it out.

Baby Jayden

Congratulation to Christopher and Sandra on the birth of their baby boy Jayden this afternoon at 3pm. May the Lord the family with joy and love. Pray for Sandra's health as well. Please call Chris first before any visit.

Baby Laura 1st Birthday

Last Saturday, Rev. Chew and Mrs. Chew daugther, Laura celebrated her first birthday. Her birthday also means that Rev. Elijah has been with us for more than a year. May the Lord bless them in their ministry.

Easter Service

Congratulation to Bruce & Serene on the baptism of their daugther Summer, and Mark & Alice on the baptism of their son Manfred.



The choir presented a musical cantata entitled "The Bridge".

If you are interested in the Sunday School ministry, come and visit us either at 9am or 11am on Sunday morning at the educational building. You can join us as a helper, enjoying the joy of the ministry. You must be a regular in the church service as well.
